After years of building up her reputation as an icy sex goddess, Megan reveals that acting in a comedy film is a huge breath of fresh air for her.
In the latest film by Sacha Baron Cohen, “The Dictator”, Megan plays an uptight call-girl, who fumes at Cohen after being paid in Rubies rather than diamonds, spouting “What am I, a Kardashian?”
Even though she only has a cameo appearance in the film, it is still a nice change from the cold characters she usually plays. Megan, 25, says: “When I first started acting I was always playing the bitchy or mean girl, then I was playing these cool, robotic women.
“I was growing tired of playing those kinds of characters and reinforcing this stereotype of me and having to play up to that when I was doing interviews.
“Now I feel I can be myself again. It’s given me the chance to get away from that sexy, icy image that I’ve been stuck with.
“I think the public can relate to me more easily in these kinds of movies.”
Megan says that she also really enjoyed working with comedy actor Sacha Baron Cohen, who plays the lead role in “The Dictator”.
“I had a wonderful time. Sacha is very smart and funny. We had a great time working together. “I think audiences are going to love the film.”
Megan says: ”A lot of things make me happy. But I feel unbelievably happy when my nine-year-old stepson tells me I’m beautiful. Kassius is one of the most beautiful things about my life.”
The 25-year-old star says that she loves caring for Kassius, her 9-year-old stepson from her husband, Brian Austin Green’s previous relationship with Vanessa Marcil.
”When I started living with Brian, his son was only two and I was 18. But ever since I’ve felt like we’ve created this family together.
”I love being a stepmom and I feel that the experience grounds me when nothing else makes sense in my life.
”I’ve basically been looking after Kassius since he was three and that’s part of my world that very few people really ever understood about me.”
After being raised in a strict Pentecostal family in Tennessee Megan also finds comfort in the church, and doesn’t see why people always argue over religious views.
”I think all religions have common principles and an overriding faith in God, so I’ve tried to use religion in a non-restrictive, very open way.
”Religion can be a beautiful thing.”
Photographer Delbert Shaw is suing celebrity husband, Brian Austin Green, for assaulting him on a holiday in Hualalai, Hawaii last year.
He was alledgedly taking photos of Green and his wife, Megan, as they began to shout verbal threats and obscenities towards him. Shaw claims in a lawsuit that will be filed this morning in L.A. County Superior Court, that Fox shouted to Green “Are you going to let him get away with that?” and in a violent act Green approached the man and began to physically attack him, throwing his phone into the sea in the process.
He’s suing for unspecified damages. Calls to representatives for Fox and Green were not returned.
Sources in the US have revealed that Megan has very recently been confirmed as pregnant to husband, Brian Austin Green. She has been talking a lot about babies for a while, and is also playing stepmother to Green’s son Kassius, so not many people will be too shocked by the news. Still, a massive congratulations to Megan and Brian!
Megan Fox and husband, Brian Austin Green, are facing legal action from photographer who apparently got involved in a scrap with the Hollywood couple last year in Hawaii.
The couple allegedly made verbal threats towards Delbert Shaw, a photographer from LA, who is now pressing charges from injuries he apparently faced after he was assaulted by Green.
Shaw was photographing the couple while they were on holiday in Hawaii, and Fox “encouraged Green to attack Shaw and then cheered him on as he accosted the photographer”.
They are also facing damages to Shaw’s mobile phone, which Green apparently threw into the water.
Megan will be starring alongside 2009 mega-hit “Avatar” star Zoe Saldana in the upcoming Paramount Pictures script “Swindle”, which will be produced by ‘Moneyball’ producer Michael de Luca.
The film will have an action/heist themed plot, something a little different for Megan, as she will have to get tough alongside “Avatar” star Saldana.
Both Paramount and Universal Studios have apparently been working hard to chase down the script, suggesting that it will be a substantial project to work on, and be involved in.
Megan has been talking of having her own child for weeks now, saying she is completely ready, and that it won’t heavily affect her social life. At 25 she is married to former 90210 star, Brian Austin Green, and plays stepmother to Kassius, his 9-year-old son. She says that being a mother proves much more difficult than being in a Hollywood relationship.
“Of those three, (parenting) is definitely the most difficult,” she told FOX411. “There is the most reward in it, but there is also the most pressure, guilt and worry.”
She is completely ready, she says, to have a child of her own, and is not at all worried about how this will affect her, already quite mellow, social life.
“I’ve never really socialized, I’ve always been anti-social and preferred to be at home,” she said. “I was never, even my late teens and early twenties, into clubs and parties and stuff like that. So I feel like the transition will be fairly easy, in that sense, for me.”

…sexy.
Now for those of you who are reading this, and especially to those of you who searched for this story, I clearly wrote it to prove a point. People seem to be so obsessed with the lives of celebrities that they search for stories like this just to pass the time. Why do people do it? Why do they sit and search for headlines regarding devastating events in the lives of their favourite stars? Personally, I have never been interested in celebrity culture, and always thought of those who are as shallow and bored, otherwise why concern yourself with the goings on of someone you will probably never meet? But when people search stories like this, whether it is because they heard a rumour, or want to start one, it takes it to a new level. People should just concern themselves with their own lives and leave these “celebrities” alone. It sickens me that people would go to great lengths to find things like this out so they can mourn about it over their favourite social networking site, yet a bus full of children crashes and no-one bats an eyelid.
Megan recently revealed that she is sick of doing action and drama films after a number of flop pictures and her fall out with Director, Michael Bay. She says that her new movie “Friends with Kids” has given her a new direction to head in.
“I do enjoy the process of making comedies,” says Megan. “If I had the choice between a heavy drama or an action movie and a comedy, I would pick the comedy. It’s such a fun experience and it’s nice to go to work and have a lot of fun.”
“Friends With Kids” is an upcoming comedy written by Jennifer Westfeldt, and starring Adam Scott, Jennifer Westfeldt and of course, Megan Fox. The film focuses around two friends in a group, who see the traumatic, life changing subject of children take it’s course on all of their friends’ relationships. They decide that there must be a better way, and choose to have a child together, while dating other people. Megan stars as Adam Scott’s love interest.
“I could never do it,” Fox said. “I could never pull it off. But maybe some people could get away with it and be happy with the results. I just…I worry about it.”
In an interview for CBS News, Fox explained that she could never have a child with a friend, but she respects htowse that could. She also talks about the performance of Chris Dowd.
“[Chris O'Dowd is] so hysterical and so strange and so inappropriate with his humor,” Fox said, “And I was crying, watching him do his scenes and listening to him improv under his breath.”
